Found this little thing, and thought the colors would look great.

There was absolutely no “bigger” game out in the sun on my last trip, so a quick change of lenses and I started to look in every bush and plant I came across.

With a macro lens you really do see another world

I was looking for something new to shoot, so I took my Sigma 150mm Macro lens, the canon 80D and I was rummig around in the dirt when I saw the mirror effect in this leaf, I thought it would make a pretty good picture.:

Captured in the garden right before noon

Shot this using the Canon 80D, Sigma 150mm Macro Lense, 1/80 sec, F/5.0, ISO 400.

I had to get down on my knees for this one, but you usually have to with the macro lens.

Small, but fascinating photos

I finally got my reversal rings, this was captured after many trials and error shots.

The setup was as followed:

18-55mm standard canon kit lense with reversal ring.
Canon 80D
1 External Flash
A lot of patience and practice.

This is very simply my girlfriends wrist watch, I had an idea about trying to shot it in a mini studio with my Sigma 150mm macro lense. I placed a flash on top with a small cheap softbox, triggering the external flash from the camera.
